IV Therapy Certification coursework includes remote learning, in-person face-to-face classes and instructor support via phone, email, and online course platform. Two (2) in person class days are mandatory which includes a full day skills check-off required for successful completion of the course.
This 30-hour refresher course is designed for currently certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics who need continuing education hours to maintain licensure or refresh essential knowledge and skills in emergency medical care. The course reviews key topics aligned with current national EMS standards, including patient assessment, airway management, medical and trauma emergencies, cardiac care, and updates in prehospital protocols. Participants will engage in a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands-on skill review to reinforce critical competencies required in the field.
